Hello,

ShipWars V which is one of ConFed's largest and most well organized Events was launched on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014. ShipWars V was an epic battle of Ship versus Ship within our Confederation Fleet. It entailed a series of 1v1 and 2v2 games. The Event carried over 7 days.

ShipWars V was placed on a point system. 1v1 victories against another member from a different Ship would earn your Ship two points. 2v2 matches against another Ship would earn you one point. (IE: 2 members from Excalibur vs 2 members from Lexington)

After 7 long grueling days there could be only one winning Ship. As of Wednesday, March 19th, 2014 at 8pm EST, the CFS-Saratoga had a total of 20 points which allowed them to pull ahead of the previous leader CFS-Lexington and secure the win.
The CFS-Saratoga has demonstrated that it is the strongest, most organized, and well mannered among all 3 Ships currently listed in Fleet One.

The final score between all 3 Ships is as follows:

  • Saratoga: 20
  • Excalibur: 10
  • Lexington: 18

Under the command of Vice Admiral ZZZ the following members have earned their recognition as they have demonstrated that they are the strongest, most organized, and well mannered among all the Ships currently listed in Fleet One.

Hello,

Integrity - Adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
Reliability - The ability to be relied on or depended on, as for accuracy, honesty, or achievement.
Dedication - Complete and wholehearted devotion, esp to a career, ideal.

These are three qualities that are most important to me when judging another person. Very few people have the ability to demonstrate these qualities time after time and time again.

Oblivion is one person that I know for sure contains these three qualities and maintains them. I have known Oblivion for well over 5 years.

When I began to rebuild the Clan at the start of Heart of The Swarm I seeked out Oblivion through any means nessecary. I checked Facebook, Google, tried old emails, etc. Eventually I got in contact with him and had asked him to come back and be a part of The Confederation again.

Since then, Oblivion has done his job well and has proved himself that he is here for the long run no questions asked.

Please hail our new Vice President of The Confederation, Oblivion!

I look forward to work with Oblivion in the mindset of furthering this Clan to greatness.

Please give him your best Salute in our Forum.

Thank you,
President CrunChy

Hello,

Over the course of the last year our Keeper Branch has struggled quite a bit. However, we've finally reached that foothold we've been waiting for. You'll notice that we have established a solid Keeper Branch and are now participating in Clan Wars. Finally, the Keeper Branch is moving in the correct direction.

While this is good and all, the way Keepers are chosen, and the way applications are handled just had to be changed. Keepers are meant for the most worthy, dedicated, skilled, and loyal members of The Confederation. Now one of the largest Clans on Battle.net we've reformed our system for handing Keepers and have made it better than ever before!

I am pleased to introduce to you the launch of our newest system for applying and becoming a Confederation Keeper! This is simply called, Keeper Academy. For those of you who might be new here, Keepers are our most skilled and talented players! They represent us in the heat of battle against other Clans. Not only are they good players, but they are of the most well mannered too.

You can find the Keeper Academy by clicking "Academy" at the top of our website. From there you simply click "Keeper Academy". This will bring you to a page that entails some basic information about the Keepers including a 3 step learning process in which you will end up on the Keeper Academy Application page once completed. You''ll also notice that the Roster for the Keeper Academy is located directly on the front page of the Keeper Academy.

Not only does the Keeper Academy replace the way people apply to become a Keeper, but it also brings back that sense of meaning and accomplishment to those who reach the first Keeper Rank: Elite Enforcer.

I really hope that you all enjoy this new system as not only myself, but members from our High Command and Keeper Roster have put in a good deal of time in ensuring that this system will work.

If you have questions, comments, or concerns we have answers! Visit our Keeper Academy Q & A section on our Forums and post!

Thank you,
President CrunChy

Hello,

Ever since the release of Heart of The Swam and the reboot of the Clan, we've struggled to get a core set of loyal skilled players and our Keeper Team up and running in order to host Clan vs Clan Battles. But as time has progressed, this Clan has molded into something much greater than what it was way back then. We've established ourselves as one of the largest and most active Clans on Battle.net with some of the deepest interclan structure ever seen!

On Sunday, January 26th, 2014, The Confederation held it's first Clan vs Clan Battle against Clan WaR.  This was an "All Kill Format", the first team to 4 points would be the victor.

The Confederation sent out 2 Diamond Players, Keeper Vindicator Motion and Private Wugi. Along side them fought 1 Gold and 1 Platinum Player, SSA Director Zmic, and Private VTarlock.

All of our players gave it their all. We saw epic muta control, some pretty interesting cannon usage, and great terran strategy. Each player from ConFed fought to their best, but they did it not for personal gain, but for the Clan and everyone back at home watching on our live cast!

You could feel the tension during the final match which also was an "Ace Match", whoever won this, that team would be considered the victor. Motion our Zerg player had to beat Clan WaR's Terran player, CheNte. Motion came to victory by executing nearly seemless muta harrassment almost never allowing CheNte to leave his base. Then at about 3/4ths through the match Motion caught CheNtes army completely off guard, with a combination of Zerglings, Banelings, and Mutas, CheNtes army stood no match.

Please give all our players your Salute when you see them online.

This event would have not been possible without direction from Oblivion and Jacobis, these two are responsible for organization of the event.

Additionally, our Caster Liaison did a superb job of casting our event. We hope to see a lot more of his Casts! The Stream and Clan in general was out of control with excitment!

This is a big deal for us because it's our first organized Clan vs Clan since our reboot in Heart of The Swarm and we won!

If you've ever considered joining The Confederation, now is the time. We are loaded with events and there are many more to come. 2014 is going to be a good year. Stop by our group channel: ConFed Community

Thank you,
President CrunChy

Hello,

Some of you may know that on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014 there was a meeting held which consisted of members who were Ranked Commander or higher within the UMC, all JCOS members, and High Command. This meeting was designed to get an idea of what the members wanted to happen in the Clan and to learn what direction this Clan is heading in.

A follow up meeting which consisted of only High Command members took place on Monday, January 13th, 2014. This meeting was designed to take all the ideas which were discussed in the previous meeting and talk them out to work on solutions in attempt to try and make everyone happy and form a solid plan which will positively impact the Clan for 2014.

Below you will find a list of goals that High Command in combination with Branch Commanders will be working on to complete throughout the upcoming months. Some of these goals you will notice are already completed, while some may not be even started, some may not even be listed for confidentiality reasons.

Keepers
1) Obtain and retain 5 high Diamond/Masters players.

2) Begin to have frequent Clan vs Clan battles.

3) eSports section on the Forums.

4) Keeper Academy.

CRA
1) Working with our Commandant to help improve the CRA.

2) Gain more peoples interest in CRA.

SSA
1) Create an anonymous suggestion/complaint form.

2) Create better means to help keep unwanted visitors out of our Forums/Community Channel.

UMC
1) Gain an idea of future Admirals and Fleet Admirals.

2) Getting members more interested in pursuing a higher Rank to gain a more responsible role within the Clan.

3) Bettering our inactive requirements.

4) Ship wars.

Miscellaneous
1) YouTube logo on our website. (Will be done once page is completed)

2) More In-Clan Tournamnets.

3) Holding Open Clan Tournaments within our Community Channel to help improve our reputation.

4) Weekly News Letter sent out to all members within our Clan. (This will start on the first Monday of February)

5) Create a Streaming page.

6) Requiring the other Branch Commanders to send a letter to High Command each month about what they are doing for their Branch and what progress they have made. This will ensure that our Branches will stay healthy and never dormant.

7) Reforming reputation points with something better.

8) Various website bug fixes/improvements.

All of these noted topics have each been discussed and solution created for. Each topic has a "Task Holder” and "Complete By Date”. So as time goes on you will see these improvements and ideas come in to effect.

The Confederation aims to be one of the most Stout, yet Respectful, Organized, and Fun Clans Battle.net has to offer. It's our rich deep inter-clan structure that sets us apart from any other Clan on Battle.net

Thank you,
President CrunChy

Greetings Confederation Members,

I would like to thank everyone who came out tonight for our Gold-Diamond StarFleet Tournament.  It was a fun evening with a lot of interesting games that will certainly be remembered.  We had two members rise to the top in tonight’s tournament.  Those members were  Perverted(ConFed) and MattFT(ConFed).

Perverted joined The Confederation about 10 minutes before the start of the tournament and quickly moved his way up to the finals, going undefeated except for one game in the semi-finals against ShazamPoof.  MattFT fought his way past VTarlack and Zeus to earn his way into the Finals tonight.

Even though he experienced a one game slip in his winning streak, Perverted managed to win the finals unscathed in a 3-0 victory over MattFT.

  • Perverted will receive a Gold Combat Pin for coming in first place.
  • MattFT will receive a Silver Combat Pin for coming in second.
  • All participtants will receive 15 Reputation points that will allow you to rank up in the clan.

Additionally, this night would not be complete without acknowledging our amazing caster, Liaison who skillfully commentated the whole evening on our Official Confederation Stream.  For his hard work, he will receive 15 Reputation Points and a Confederation Star.

Don’t forget that we are still in the process of rebuilding our competitive team.  We are currently looking for members, preferably Platnium+, to attend our weekly Keeper Practices on Thursday nights at 10pm EST.  Please contact Daedalus, Motion, or a member of High Command if you have any interests in becoming a Keeper.

Thank you for an amazing night of games, fun, and laughter.  I hope to see you all continue to sign-up for Confederation Events!  Please stay tuned for our next event which should be happening either next week, or the week after.  This event will be designed for our lower league players.

Cheers,

Greetings,

After over 6 hours, our first StarFleet Tournament of 2014 has concluded and a victor has been named.  Not only was this tournament one of the longest in Confederation history, I would argue that it was one of the most competitive.  We saw matchups of every combination and some pretty elaborate strategies in these match ups.

After an exciting finals round, INnoVation took an early lead in the finals with a 2-0 against FXOaviv.   FXOaviv regrouped and managed to tie it up, 2-2.  It all came down to the final round, a TvP matchup.  INnoVation defeated FXOaviv in the final round making the final score 3-2.

  • INnoVation will receive a Gold Combat Pin for coming in First Place.
  • FXOaviv will receive a Silver Combat Pin for coming in Second Place.
  • Everyone in attendance at tonight’s event will receive 15 Reputation Points that will help you rank up in the clan.

I hope everyone enjoyed your time at tonight’s StarFleet Tournament.  Please visit our YouTube page in the upcoming days to watch a recap of the Tournament.  Additionally, if you have any replays that you’d like to submit to be shown on this page, please contact Captain DarkRain or Foreign Advisor TheBigTG.

Special thanks to SSA Director Zmic for Streaming all night and also to his guest Casters Cryptys and Faded.

Cheers,
